Oxygen Generator FAQs
What is an oxygen generator?
An oxygen generator produces oxygen on premises from the air around it, so you make the gas where you use it instead of having it delivered. It runs on compressed air and electricity, and it supplies oxygen continuously for as long as the process needs it.
Why generate oxygen on premises instead of having it delivered?
Because on-premises O2 generation puts purity, flow rate and cost under your control. Delivered oxygen ties your operation to a supplier’s pricing, delivery schedule and availability, and it adds cylinder handling or bulk tank logistics to your plant. Generating it removes those dependencies.
What industries use industrial oxygen?
Manufacturing and metalwork use it for cutting, brazing and soldering. Glass work uses it for oxygen-enriched combustion.
