Restaurants and bars serving wine by the glass no longer need to worry about partially full re-corked wine bottles losing their freshness while sitting overnight or for days.
The key to preserving the flavor and freshness of wine in bottles that have been opened is to prevent prolonged exposure to air. Air trapped within a re-corked wine bottle causes wine to oxidize, thus the wine becomes stale overnight. Introducing Nitrogen gas to the bottle displaces the oxygen and protects the wine from getting stale.
The WineLast™ Wine Bottle Nitrogen Purging System conveniently mounts under your bar and allows you to keep wine fresher longer by applying Nitrogen gas. It is quick and easy to use, requiring a nitrogen generator or nitrogen cylinder. Purge partially full bottles of wine at the end of the evening for 2 to 4 seconds and rest assured that your wine will be preserved and ready to serve again the next day.
